Gear we have used

If you are already, in any way, an outdoor person, you probably love kit shopping. All those shelves of shiny new toys that just scream "buy me and have an adventure". Equally, the amount of choice on those same shelves can just confuse. Lets face it, parenting is new to us and you have no idea which things will help and which will just weigh down your rucksack.

 

The aim of this section is to highlight great gear that we invested in, and solutions to some of the problems we didn't know we would face! It's not all about the expense of new, technical equipment. There is a great second hand market for loads of kid's gear so knowing when to invest in something is great for our wallets and also for the environment if we can reduce consumption and re-purpose or re-use older pieces of gear.

Some kit is specifically for use with children, other items are just great bits of gear that we use to ensure we stay comfortable and can make the most of our time outside.
